Plan for the weather
Keep a quick indoor alternative in mind if wind catches napkins or the temperature drops. Carry food out shortly before sitting rather than letting it wait in direct sun.
Do I need matching tableware?
No. Stable, easy-to-clean pieces matter more than a coordinated set.
