A quiet visit
Celeste's Porch can be read without signing in. There is no shopping cart, newsletter form or account to fill out. Browsing a garden note or opening an article does not send us a name or email address.
The path to a page
The services that deliver and protect these pages receive technical request details, including IP address, browser information and the page requested. Those details can appear in hosting and security logs. We use them to keep the site available and investigate errors.
Images, type and little checkboxes
Photographs load from Google Cloud Storage and web fonts load from Google Fonts, so a browser contacts those providers when it needs an image or a font. Guide checkboxes only change the page in your browser; this journal does not save a personal checklist.
