A brief weekly reset keeps an outdoor corner usable without turning it into another major household project.

Remove the obvious clutter
Bring cups, packaging and indoor items back inside first. This clears the surfaces before you decide whether anything else needs attention.
Check the living things
Look for dry soil, blocked drainage and damaged leaves. Follow each plant's care needs rather than watering every pot automatically.
Finish with the path
Sweep the main route and check that chairs and tables have not drifted into it. Put any removable textiles somewhere dry if rain is expected.
What if I only have five minutes?
Clear the doorway and check the pots first; the rest can wait.
